Development Journal

3rd July 2009

It appears we spoke too soon. We have no specific news to report as yet but we are pleased to report we should be getting an update on the potential options for moving forwards with the development of this new game within the next couple of weeks.

18th June 2009

Thank you all for your emails of late, asking for an update. We are naturally both relieved and a little surprised so many individuals have shown an interest in the projectX trilogy.

The sad truth of the matter is we have most reluctantly had to shelve the title indefinitely due to a resources issue that is presently proving beyond our control. However, should the circumstances change, we will be letting you know immediately as we resume work.

Until then, all the best, and please feel free to stay in contact if you're feeling optimistic!

4th January 2008

Much to our embarrassment it appears that word of our current contract negotiations
have spread rather more rapidly than we had expected. At this stage we must reiterate that, although it is true we have begun work on an alife computer game as part of a bid for a new contract, no formal agreement has been signed for its completion as yet.

It is expected that it will be several more months of development before we reach a
stage where we can confirm whether or not we will be licensed to release this project.
So, although it will be unlikely that we will be able to post any further updates until that time, we will be doing our best to ensure the bid is accepted, all factors permitting.

Finally, in response to emails we have received asking if this might be a 'community project' - we can assure you that although we will be doing our best to read all your
helpful suggestions and feedback, we will not be requiring any unofficial assistance with development. We might be a new company but our staff are highly experienced.

21st December 2007

Christmas it seems has rolled around again so, before we throw our skis in the back of the car and each head off to our respective winter cabins for the week, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! See you January 2nd 2008!

3rd September 2007

We are pleased to announce we have now completed the design stage for projectX and, with the intended schedule in place, we are beginning the prototype solution.

This is the most exciting phase for us as it means leaving the drawing board and setting the practical work underway. Already we are all finding ourselves becoming more and more attached to the product and can see why it once had such a large following.

12th March 2007

It seems we have recently been receiving an increasing number of emails regarding our new project. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to respond to correspondence from the public on an individual basis but we do still welcome your suggestions.

If you have any opinions you would like to share or constructive criticisms, please email our development team on suggestionbox@blueberryentertainment.com

19th February 2007

Over the past couple of months we have been busy tying up loose ends for our existing commitments and working through concepts for the new trilogy.

It has proved extremely difficult to estimate the potential market size for this product and, with the agreement still 'in prospect', we are taking a calculated risk in investing so much time and money in its development. Despite this we are continuing in high hopes.

Provided that we meet our forecasts and all goes well, the two planned trilogy expansion episodes should be released within twelve months of the initial launch date, by Fall 2010.

29th September 2006

We have received news confirming we have begun discussions with regard to producing an exciting new 2D computer game starting next March. Therefore, we will archive the existing journal by February and will post updates on the project periodically.
