Creatures 4: The Adventures of the Lone Shee

As of September 2006 Blueberry Entertainment has begun discussions with Gameware Development in regard to developing the next game
in the Creatures series¹. The 2D alife RPG, expected for release Fall 2009, will follow the story of the Lone Shee, as he journeys from
Albia to Sphericus in search of his friends.

Platform: Windows/Linux/Mac OS X

Creatures 4² takes the form of three very different intertwining tales in an exciting new adventure, followed by more traditional freeform playability. The games come complete with approximately twenty breeds, five new locations and ten content developer tools each, and the means to conduct your own unique Shee or Banshee research.

Trilogy Features:

  • Gameplay - playable over the Internet, on a home network or offline.
  • Adventure - Discover how to unlock each new area of the freeform game as you play. In your own time moving through the story and towards Sphericus.
  • Species - two new species in addition to the Norns, Grendels and Ettins.
  • Environments - twenty new environments, based on planets and space ships.
  • Breeds - over fifty distinct new breeds, each suited to their own climate, and
    support for a staggering total of 260 different breeds per species.
  • Applications - over twenty 2d and 3d developer tools for creating addons.
  • Ecosystem - enhanced ecosystems in all environments, with their own delicate natural balance of critters and plant life to experience.
  • Cycles - day and night cycle, season and weather effects.
  • Statistics - game statistics inc. individual/group wolfling results & family trees.
  • Interaction - enhanced chat, messaging, contacts & online warp functionality.
  • Saved Games - Game management support for multiple games and users.
  • Graphics - updated graphics depth and improved effects.

²Blueberry Entertainment has begun work on the Creatures 4 alife computer game in a bid for a new contract, but no agreement has been signed with Gameware Development for its completion as yet.
